This weekend we decided to finish our patio. This is not a true before picture, but it's when I got the idea to take a few pictures. We had to take out part of the old patio, lay down rock, level it out, and lay sand.

Vic let me lay most of the bricks, which I thought was pretty cool. I asked him if he wanted to do that part, and he said, "no, that's the fun part, you should get to do it".
The almost finished product, it still needs the border and some clean up. Now the patio extends to both ends of the house.

NICE!! That looks hard. I love seeing all the different styles and tastes of everyone in the family. As well as parenting styles. It's inspiring. That truck totally suits Vic. I am jealous. And Taryn... I'm so glad she had a great day. I was praying for her.

Sweet new truck! It's gotta be a good sign if they buy you a car! Excellent work on the patio. It looks really good. I always pine for a house like yours.
really nice, it looks so great, I too dream of a patio too, our yard never dries because of all the trees, and every time we go back there our feet get muddy.
Very nice. I'm hoping that Jeff decides to do something similar around our home. Minus having me lay any brick.
