One of the benefits of living next to nowhere is the neat animals we find. On one of our walks Friday night, Vic found this lizard on the trail behind our house. He brought it home for Erik to play with. Erik was so thrilled by this thing, and was sad when we had to let him go at the end of the night. We set him in the garden, and Erik woke up bright and early the next morning and went out to see if he could find him again. No luck.

Oh, I miss your kids. They are so cute. Tell Taryn she did awesome. I wish I could have come to that!
That is so fun! I bet he was so sad when he couldn't find it. I bet he asks for a rubber lizard for his birthday now.:) his hair is so long!
bleck. We used to get salamanders in our stairwell during the summers. I am so not a fan. He and Taryn look way cute, though.
That's a big lizard. I used to do the same thing. the only animals that stuck around were my frogs I put in mom's garden. She even found them the next year.
He's definately a boy!
