My kids are upstairs having a big fight instead of doing their morning chores. I hear them yell, I hate you, you're stupid, and insults like that. Then Erik come down the stairs and says, "Mommy, here's something that hurts my feelings.....Taryn says she hates Michael Jackson."

You tell Erik that I don't hate Michael Jackson. That was probably the meanest thing Taryn's ever said. But it's also probably the funniest. Your kids are great.
That's so funny! My first fight with Amy was over a similar situation.

I agree with Taryn. And I hope she said it in a "and I think he's way overrated and I'm glad he's in financial trouble" tone of voice. She totally trumped that argument.
