On another note, I'll share a funny story. Some of you have heard of Taryn and Erik's plan to live together when they grow up. At first they felt like they had to pretend they were not brother and sister so they could raise a family together. Taryn is going to adopt the babies and Erik will be their dad figure. I explained that they can be brother and sister and not get married but still live together. They liked this idea and have run with it since. Taryn was in the car with her friend Delaney explaining this to her. Delaney says, "you know you don't have to live with him." And Taryn says, "I'm hoping that he'll be nicer when we grow up."

that's too funny. maybe they'll both meet some other people and there plans will change. :0)
Congrats to Erik on the tooth! Sounds like Cole just lost one too.
i've never found anyone that has as good of noodles as Tepanyaki.
Okay, with Taryn's explanation to her friend at the end, it all makes more sense. :)
Congrats on your anniversary and Erik's tooth.
Yeah I have been craving Tepanyaki, I have tried to make some substitute stuff but it was just not the same. Your kids are so funny! I think it is great that they care so much about each other.
Tell Erik congrats on losing his first tooth. That is pretty exciting!
That is so funny! I love that! I think it's awesome that they are so close. I keep hearing about kids losing their teeth and it makes me miss being that young. I loved loosing my teeth!
Erik seems to always have something on his face. I'm glad she has hope for them being able to live together. That's really funny.
So what was the verdict? Could he wait it out? I never had the option to not wait it out. And it sure as heck was not a dollar waiting for me!
My word verification is how I feel when Kyle thinks it's okay to grab my belly and shake: jibili
I wasn't going to mention it...but he did decide to wait for the tooth fairy. In the morning he climbed into bed with me and said, there was no dollar under my pillow. I had forgotten! It was not one of my finer moments. So I gave him 5 quarters instead of 4 to make up for it. He was pleased with that.
Oh, do I remember those days and especially the forgetting. Congrats to Erik!
That's too awesome. Sounds like you and Jeff.
Okay so about the tax conversation on Kelli's blog... The tax credit for 2008, even though it's an interest free loan doesn't it count as income and you have to pay taxes on it and can't it possibly bump you up a tax bracket and cause you not to recieve a tax return? The 2009 one sounds better. But is it for new home owners? Or could Wendy get it?
What do you mean me and Jeff?
The credit is for 1st time homebuyers or people who haven't owned a home in at least 3 years. It doesn't count as income, and you pay it back $500 a year out of your tax refund.
The 2009 one is better, but you have to purchase your home in 2009.
The paying it back was for the 2008 one right? The 2009 one is just your money and that's it, right?
Right.
So funny! Tell Taryn not to hope for change- don't they always say your finance's faults only irritate you more once you become married?! I know that's not the plan (marraige) but you know what I mean. Good that you're writing these things down- they will get a kick out of them later for sure.
